Plague of Shadows

This was such an interesting piece to work on! As I like dark themes but I don’t actually get to work on real dark themes much oftenly in commissioned illustrations, so I really enjoyed it a lot! (And made more more sad about this game didn’t survive 😭)

This scene unfolds like this:
A mysterious forest appeared suddenly above the town. Panic ensued as the shadow engulfed everything, leaving chaos and some people vanished without a trace. When the shadows retreated back to the floating forest, survivors whispered in fear: “The demons took them.” Black fur, blood-red eyes—they say the demons still reside in the forest above.
